CORONAVIRUS POLICY UPDATES

With all of the uncertainty surrounding the coronavirus, we know this can be a confusing time. We want you to know that your safety is our top priority. As such, we’ve made a series of policy updates based on CDC and state government recommendations to help keep you safe as we bring on-site massage back to states that are opening up.

Keeping You Safe

To help keep you safe, we are implementing the following changes to policy until further notice.  Thank you for keeping yourself and our team safe.

COVID-19 Updated Onsite Safety Standards 

  • A face mask and disposable gloves are required for practitioners
  • Gloves will be changed after each participant
  • Clients are encouraged to wear to wear masks, though it is not required
  • All practitioners hair should be pulled back and secured if it is long enough to fall forward while massaging.
  • Practitioners will be required to follow existing sanitation procedures, including sanitizing hands between clients and sanitizing their massage chair between clients.
  • Practitioners will increase their hand-washing and hygiene protocols. They will use hand sanitizer between clients when soap and water are not readily available.
  • If there are multiple practitioners working at the same time, each practitioner will maintain a distance of at least 6 feet between other practitioners and participants.
  • If a participant is waiting to be massaged, they will be asked to maintain a distance of at least 6 feet between other practitioners and participants.

Practitioner Screening

Please stay home if you are not well.  Practitioners standing with the company will not be negatively impacted for cancelling a shift if they feel they are getting sick.

Before each shift a member of our team will be ask practitioners the following questions. If they answer “yes” to any of the questions, they will not be allowed to massage.

  • Have you tested positive to Covid-19 in the last 14 days?
  • Has anyone in your household tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 14 days?
  • Have you had a fever of 100.4 F or greater in the last 2 days?
  • Do you have a cough, difficulty breathing, sore throat or loss of taste or smell
  • Have you had contact with a person known to be infected with COVID-19 within the past 14 days?

Client and Participant Changes

All participants will be required to use the online scheduler when scheduling individual appointments to allow for contact tracing.

Before each participant is seated they will be asked the following verbal intake questions:

  • Have you tested positive to Covid-19 in the last 14 days?
  • Has anyone in your household tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 14 days?
  • Have you had a fever of 100.4 F or greater in the last 2 days?
  • Do you have a cough, difficulty breathing, sore throat or loss of taste or smell
  • Have you had contact with a person known to be infected with COVID-19 within the past 14 days?

If a participant answers yes to any of the questions, or shows any signs of respiratory illness, they will be politely refused service, for everyone’s safety.
