Massages for 24 Hour Facilities. What About the Night Shift?

An in office massage is easy to find if you want to reward your hard working team during the business day. Between the hours of 9-5, you can find a corporate massage company to come give some sweet chair massage for onsite stress relief without any headache. But what about night shift massages (24 hour massage)?

What if you’re a hospital with nurses working round the clock?

What do you do if you want to give some massages to the night shift workers at your manufacturing plant?

Or what if your weekend team is working hard and you want to reward them on Saturday?

Here are easy ways to make workplace massage work for your company, even if your employees work all hours of the day (or night!)

Hey 24-hour facilities — we see you! Just because you don’t follow a typical working schedule doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have access to office massage services.

In this article, we’ll cover how to offer office chair night shift massages to your workers.

24 Hour Massage for Swing Shift Employees

Over the years I have come across many organizations that don’t fit the typical Monday through Friday 9am-5pm mold. These businesses range from manufacturing and call centers, to software companies and hospitals.

The first question I’ll hear from these 24-hour businesses is this:

Do you provide chair massages after business hours?

I have to say I’m happy to hear the question, because it shows I’m talking to a company who wants the best for their employees, even if they work unconventional hours.

For companies with a workforce spread out across varying shifts, this is a very serious issue.

If an in-office massage program is implemented without the swing and night shifts being considered, it becomes a big equity issue and actually begins to undermine employee morale.

Many corporate massage companies only provide services Monday through Friday, 9 am – 5 pm. And if you want after-hours services, you might get charged an additional fee for massage events that are outside their normal business hours.

However, there are massage companies that don’t care what time of day you’d like a massage service for your employees. They’ll happy arrange for your therapists to show up for the graveyard shift without an extra fee. (Just for the record, Zenovate is one of those companies!)

We have countless call centers, factories, hospitals, and clinics that we work with to find an ideal time to reach the employees who work all shifts.

How to Offer 24 Hour Massage for the Night Shift or Graveyard Shift Workers

With most of our clients we have found that the best way to reach employees who work the swing and night shifts is to schedule massages at the end or beginning of their shifts.

This will typically look like a 8pm-midnight shift and a 6am-10am shift, for example. That way you can do that overlap of the swing shift people leaving and the night shift people coming on, and then everyone’s happy.

Corporate Chair Massage on Weekends

Since we do so much work with hospitals, we actually do a lot of in office massages on the weekends (especially during Nurses Week!). There are quite a few reasons a company might need chair massages on a weekend.

Maybe your company is having a corporate retreat over the weekend and want some onsite massage for that. Or maybe you want to reward your Nurses for working on Mother’s Day with a little chair massage surprise that Sunday.

Whatever the case may be, rest assured that most corporate massage companies can accommodate your office’s unique needs and your team can enjoy the benefits of some sweet corporate chair massage.
